Hawaiian Air Posts Gain in Traffic and Capacity for October

Hawaiian Airlines announced operational results for October 2019.
The airline reported that it carried 986,611 passengers in October, a year-over-year increase of 1% from 971,817 in the same period last year.

Piccadilly Theatre Ceiling Collapses, Injuring Audience Members

A theater in London’s West End was evacuated after a section of its ceiling crashed down on theatergoers 20 minutes into the show.
The Piccadilly Theatre was packed for a performance of Arthur Miller’s “Death of a Salesman,” starring Wendell Pierce as Willy Loman.  The play had opened on Monday.

All Nippon Airways announced this week plans to introduce new first- and business-class suites on its New York-Tokyo route.
The Tokyo-based airline’s new business-class seat is called the Room and features alternating front- and rear-facing seats in suites with doors that close.  The seat width – 35” – is almost double that of the earlier business-class product.

Lufthansa said Wednesday it was cancelling approximately 1,300 flights because of a planned strike by flight attendants on Thursday and Friday.
The job action will impact over 180,000 passengers, the German flag carrier said.
